how do I make my images look good?

Images will be cropped to a ratio 5:2 by uiverse.com. we Recommended:

What happened to my old event page?

If you made an event page via our old tech partner Splash, you can still access your events by logging into splashthat.com. However, these events are no longer connected to Conscious City Guide because Universe has replaced Splash as our tech partner.

How do I get all of my attendees to the new Universe backend?

If you sold some tickets in Splash for an event that you’re now hosting via Universe and would like to keep all of your attendees in one place, follow the simple instructions in the video above or here. Note that your guests will receive a confirmation email from Universe with their new ticket so you can easily scan them in at the door!

Why don’t I see my event on Conscious City Guide?

1. you didn’t publish your event on universe.com

you created your event, but the event won’t go live until you press “publish Now”

2. your event doesn’t align with our values

we select events and experiences which follow our ethos of providing experiences that connects people to themselves, each other, and the planet.

3. it hasn’t been 24-48 hours

Conscious City Guide now has a 24-48 hour review period to determine if your event aligns to these values. If it has been more than 48 hours and your event has not been posted to Conscious City Guide, feel free to reach out to us directly at hello@consciouscityguide.com to inquire further!

How do I list my event on the new website?

If you’re ready to make the transition to our new ticketing partner so that your events continue showing on Conscious City Guide, go to this link and then follow the directions in the “List + ticket your EVENt” video above. We promise it’s super simple :)


Can I check in guests at the door and/or process ticket sales at the door?

All Conscious City Guide events can now process both check in and day-of ticket sales at the door via Universe’s free app, Box Office. Check out all the info about Box Office including how to download it here.


How do I get paid after my event?

Funds from your event will be added to your Universe account balance 48 hours after the end of your event and you will be notified via email when they are available. Once the funds have been added to your account balance, they can be requested at any time. To request the funds, simply login to your Universe account and click on the Balance showing on the right side of your Dashboard. From there, you will be guided through the steps to set up your payout account (a one-time process). For more details, see this walkthrough.
